Leadership Workshop

September 16, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - September 17, 2020 @ 2:30 pm EDT

Authentic Leadership: Cultivating Compassion, Understanding, and Action

The events over that past few months have drastically shifted how we live our lives, engage in community work, and connect with each other. It is both a time of uncertainty and a time that can allow us to pause, reflect, and identify what we each need to be successful leaders. Join Campus Compact for Michigan for an an interactive workshop to better understand the diversity of roles we play and how to communicate our needs to those with whom we work.

This workshop, “Authentic Leadership: Cultivating Compassion, Understanding, and Action,” is delivered over two days. Participants can choose to join as individuals or invite others from their team. During our time together, you will be guided through a framework and engage in reflection exercises to help you:

    • See yourself in a holistic way.
    • Learn where and how you can influence.
    • Understand how your strengths align and support your work.
    • Develop a personal action plan for communicating personal and team needs.

This workshop is intended for anyone from a Campus Compact member campus who works in community/civic engagement or community based learning.
