What is a Host Site?

A host site is a location where a VISTA serves for their year of service. During their time at this institution, each VISTA helps to expand programs, create community partnerships and recruit volunteers.

Michigan Campus Compact's AmeriCorps *VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) program provides an opportunity for campuses to create, develop and strengthen initiatives involving campus-community relationships, service learning and community service.
